Selection Process

The entire selection procedure will be completed in three steps, carrying a total of 100 marks.

1. Step 1 – Weightage Marks (20 Marks): Based on Language (Hindi/English), Academics (LL.B. performance), and Co-curricular Activities (Moot Court/Paper Publication) uploaded with the application form.
2. Step 2 – Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted for the next stage based on their provisional Weightage Marks. Shortlisted candidates will be 3 times the vacancy number or up to 150 candidates.
3. Step 3 – Screening Test (60 Marks): A descriptive written paper of one hour duration.
4. Step 4 – Interview Test (20 Marks Weightage): Interview will be held, carrying a weightage of 20%.
5. Step 5 – Document Verification: Original documents will be verified for all candidates who appear for the Screening and Interview Test.
6. Step 6 – Final Merit List: Based on the aggregate of final Weightage Marks + Screening Test marks + Interview marks.

Salary / Pay Scale

• Fixed Honorarium: Rs. 40,000 per month (subject to upward revision as per Court orders).

Job Profile

The selected Research Associates will be attached to Hon’ble Judges at the Allahabad or Lucknow Bench. Their primary duties include carrying out research work on legal points and principles, attending court hearings to take notes, and performing legal drafting. They will also assist in maintaining case files, preparing research papers, and maintaining a record of judgments.
